Ray-Ban campaign features gay couple
The eyewear designer, Ray-Ban, has introduced an advertisement that features a gay couple holding hands as part of their 75th anniversary campaign.
The campaign, called ‘Never Hide,’ aims, according to the press release, to portray men and women “living their day to day lives with authenticity, with the courage to express themselves and their unique individuality, which is the most precious thing we have, because the most fashionable thing to be is yourself.”
The ad features two smart-suited men, holding hands, and walking on a busy sidewalk. It has proved very popular across the social networks and the blogosphere.
The photo was shot by the French advertising agency, Marcel, as an affirmation of “people from various eras who have flouted conventions in plain sight. Other photos in the campaign can be found here.
