Thousands of laptops, tablets and mobile phone screens spontaneously combusted into a plume of hormonal flames after professional pseudo-twink actor Ansel Elgort uploaded a near-naked photograph of to promote his ‘OnlyFans’.

After images of his bulge broke the internet in late March, Elgort, 26, casually uploaded the nude Tuesday evening, but it’s the caption that caused countless people to pass out from having their breath completely torn from their body.

“OnlyFans,” Ansel Elgort wrote, “LINK IN BIO.”

Some folks have dubbed the coronavirus the great leveller, and it seems that times are so tough that they have forced even Elgort to make an account on the app commonly used by adult film entertainers.

Did Ansel Elgort just start an OnlyFans?

Well, he kind of did.

The link in Elgort’s bio wasn’t, alas, an OnlyFans profile.

It instead brought aggressively thirsty followers to a GoFundMe page rallying funds for healthcare providers as well as small businesses, retailers and eateries in Brooklyn, New York, financially cratered by coronavirus lockdown measures.

Be the change you want to see in the world, one nude at a time.

Although, DJ Diplo was not particularly pleased with Elgort, who commented on the post: “Ur the worst.”

Of course, the response to Ansel’s nude was everything you’d expect.

Ansel Elgort once ‘came out’ as straight.

In the mid-teenies, Elgort was roiled by rumours that he is gay, which led to him addressing them head-on in a series of blunt tweets.

The Fault in Our Stars actor tweeted back in 2014 to say he liked girls “a lot”, “just in case it isn’t clear.”

He later went on to clarify to say that he wouldn’t have a problem if he was gay, but that he wanted it to be clear that he was straight.

He said: “Also let me say if I was gay I wouldn’t hide it.

“Being gay or straight isn’t bad or good it just IS.

“U are who you are. Be true to yourself.”
