Lesbian stabs unwanted male admirer
An incident in New York involving a DVD hawker and a gang of lesbians has left a 28-year-old man hospitalised with stab wounds.
The man, Dwayne Buckle, is alleged to have approached a group of what the New York Daily News described as “a gang of petite but ornery lesbians.”
Buckle, who sells counterfeit DVDs, singled out a 19-year-old woman, telling her she was pretty.
When she rejected his advances, he allegedly spat on the woman and threw a cigarette at her.
The woman, reported to be under 5ft tall, then produced a large steak knife. A group of six women, friends of the 19-year-old, appeared.
Buckle was stabbed in the stomach and kicked, punched and beaten with a belt.
The lesbian gang then attempted to flee the scene, but were arrested a short distance away. They face charges of attempted murder and gang assault.
“He spat on us and threw a cigarette,” one of the gang told The Daily News. “This is a hate crime.”
The gang are all reported to be from Newark, New Jersey, and are aged between 18 and 31-years-old.
