Lil Nas X: Last year I was sleeping on the floor, now I’m gay

The US singer Lil Nas X has revealed how last year he had no money and was sleeping on his sister’s floor, and “now I’m gay.”

In a tweet that’s been liked more than a million times, the rapper said, “Wow man last year i was sleeping on my sisters floor, had no money, struggling to get plays on my music, suffering from daily headaches, now i’m gay.”

Twitter fans loved his tweet.

“You’re fucking godlike,” said one user.

Rose, a “hip g-ma supporting the teens” and self-confessed “Lil Nas X super stan” said, “Life hits you fast man.”

“Conclusion: Gay is the way to a good day,” said another user.
Another added, “Being gay really is better.”

After Lil Nas X came out, the rapper Young Thug said he shouldn’t have done it.

In an interview for No Jumper, Young Thug said: “I feel like he probably shouldn’t have told the world. He shouldn’t have told the world.

Lil Nas X came out as LGBT+ in June

The ‘Old Town Road’ rapper came out as LGBT+ after a series of not-so-cryptic tweets.

“Some of y’all already know, some of y’all don’t care,” the 20-year-old tweeted on World Pride Day (June 30).

“But before this month ends I want y’all to listen closely to C7osure.”
Taken from his recently released EP 7, ‘C7osure’s’ lyrics talk about letting go and being free.

“Ain’t no more actin’, man that forecast say I should just let me grow,” the track begins.

“No more red light for me, baby, only green, I gotta go.”

In a second tweet responding to queries from fans about whether he had come out or not, Lil Nas X added: “Deadass thought i made it obvious.”
