Kim Kardashian and Beats are releasing Skims-inspired headphones and it’s what fans have been ‘hoping’ for
Kim Kardashian is teaming up with Beats to release neutral tone earbuds inspired by her SKIMS line.
For her first collab with the Apple-owned brand, she’s revamped the wireless earbuds, Beats Fit Pro, with three minimalistic designs.
Beats and Kardashian fans are loving the subtle design of the headphones and think that the skin tone products are going to be the next big thing in tech.
The Beats x Kim earbuds are now available to shop from Selfridges.

She says: “I wanted to break away from the idea that headphones have to be colorful to make a statement.
“This collaboration is special because it allows you to blend in or stand out, and Beats is known for creating products that showcase individuality.”
One Twitter user posted pictures of the collection, saying we’re “about to see a huge increase in flesh tone technology products” because people are “tired of metallic grey” products.

Others responded to the post saying that Kim “just cracked the code” and they want “a chocolate phone to match”.
Another said that they were “hoping” for the release because they’re “tired of white” and somebody else said, “if only the collab wasn’t with her”.
One Twitter user was critical of the lack of shades, saying: “Anything “flesh tone” that only comes in anything less than 10 shades in 2022 is just false advertising and should be sued.”
However the products have been described as “three neutral shades inspired by her signature minimalistic aesthetic and coveted SKIMS line”, rather than skin tone headphones.
The wireless earbuds called Beats Fit Pro will be available in three muted tones: Moon (light), Dune (medium) and Earth (deep).
It marks the reality star’s first custom project with the tech brand and they’ll be priced at $199.99/£199.99 each.
Alongside the neutral hues, the earbuds are expected to feature a wingtip design to provide a secure fit, Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive EQ modes, and spatial audio.
Other features include dynamic head tracking – the music’s sound will change as you turn your head – and Apple’s signature H1 chip, which pairs your earbuds to your iPhone or any other Apple device.
They’ll also be compatible with Android phones, just simply download the Beats companion app on your device.
